The Journey

Sunski came to us wanting to increase their keyword visibility in SEO. At the time, they were essentially relying on branded traffic only. We created a strategy to build out collections pages that related to the sunglasses they sold. All pages were based on search volume, example groupings include: round sunglasses (12,100 monthly searches) and half frame sunglasses (590 searches).

Content for each landing page was mapped out according to related keywords and opportunities for internal linking were created.

THE RESULTS

Though this project is still in process at the time of this case study, we are seeing some amazing results early on. Sunski is ranking 3rd for “half frame sunglasses” and 16th for “round sunglasses”. Neither page has been linked to yet in the navigation and we are still waiting on 10 other pages to go live.

We have also seen some other high value keywords move up in position with a few strategy tweaks including: “recycled sunglasses” (210 monthly searches) bumping up to 2nd place and “sunglasses with a lifetime warranty” (590 monthly searches) moving into 2nd.
