The Journey

Wyndham Capital Mortgage was getting most of their organic traffic through branded search. Their goal was to increase keyword visibility for non-branded terms. We started by making a keyword map for their existing sitemap and provided optimization opportunities for each landing page.

Most of the links in their blog pointed users to other domains and had anchor text that was not keyword targeted. We optimized the internal linking structure of their posts to send equity to their high-value landing pages.

THE RESULTS

Wyndham Capital Mortgage started 2019 down 19% year-over-year (YOY) for organic sessions. By the end of the year they were up 40%. We successfully turned the business around digitally.

Conversions followed a similar trend line. Organic leads were down 54% YOY at the start of 2019 and up 128% by the end. Keyword visibility grew by over 400% throughout 2019.
